5] POWER- system on: connects the output of the external
adapter to the internal circuits.
6] GATING- indicates turning on of the function enabling the voice
level to be raised before the Larsen effect (annoying whistling)
occurs.

To set the Gating function, carry out the following procedure:
# turn off GATING
# after connecting the three microphones to inputs 4,5,6 and
turning the relative Gain controls to the middle position, operate
the knobs of the relative volumes, turning them to the same
position until the limit of “whistling”.
# turn on GATING
# the “whistling” will have disappeared; this is the maximum voice
level that can be obtained without the Larsen effect, always taking
into account the type of microphone, the room, the
speaker/microphone distance, etc.

6] GATING- indica l’attivazione della funzione che permette di
aumentare il livello del parlato prima che s’inneschi il “larsen”
(fastidiosi fischi).

Per tarare la funzione Gating seguire la seguente procedura:
# disattivare il GATING
# dopo aver collegato negli ingressi 4,5,6 i tre microfoni e ruotato i
relativi comandi di Gain nella posizione centrale, agire sulle
manopole dei relativi volumi portandoli nella stessa posizione fino
al limite del “fischio”.
# attivare il GATING
# si noterà la scomparsa del “fischio”; questo è il livello massimo
del parlato che si può ottenere senza avere l’effetto
“larsen”,tenendo sempre conto del tipo di microfono,
dell’ambiente, della distanza altoparlante/microfono, ecc..
