6.11 Every 3000 operating hours

6.11.1

Replacing ribbed V-belt and idler pulley

Remove the compressor V-belt.

Optional equipment

Press idler pulley (1)

Fig. 178 in direction of arrow using a

socket wrench (3), until the locking pin (4) engages in the

assembly bore.

Take the ribbed V-belt (2) first off the smallest pulley.

Unscrew fastening screws (5) and take off idler pulley.

Install a new idler pulley and tighten the fastening screw with

80 Nm (59 ft.lbs)

Install the new ribbed V-belt.

Counter the idler pulley with a ratchet and remove the locking

pin.

Check whether the ribbed V-belt is correctly seated in the

guides.

Install and tighten the compressor V-belt.
