2. Have a qualified technician conduct the following operations:
a) de-install the board from the wall and place it on the floor;
b) open the power supply unit compartment (Fig. 3.5);
c) identify the fuse corresponding to the port where the flat cable of the malfunctioning module is connected
and check that it is not damaged;
d) replace the fuse if damaged, otherwise replace the electronic connector board (

3. Change the connection cable between the module and the power supply unit.
8.1.6
The acoustic signal does not work
1. Check the set level: for this feature, see the instructions of the Command Console.
2. Check the set duration: for this feature, see the instructions in the Command Console.
3. On the Control Console, manually operate the sound.
4. Have a qualified technician conduct the following operations:
a) de-install the board from the wall and place it on the floor;
b) open the power supply unit compartment (Fig. 3.5);
c) disconnect the flat connection cables of the module (see chapter 3.2) and remove the power supply unit;
d) identify the acoustic signal (horn) and then disconnect the cables. Try supplying power directly with a
continuous voltage of +24Vdc; pay attention that the polarity is correct (red cable: +);
e) if still no sound is emitted, then replace the horn, otherwise replace the electronic connector board

8.2.
Replacing a LED display board
This procedure can be done without having to
de-install the scoreboard.
1. Disconnect the electronic board’s power
supply.
2. With a Phillips screwdriver remove the two
screws from the transparent front panel
(Fig. 8.1, Fig. 8.2-1) of the module
containing the board in need of replacement.
Remove the top screws from the front panel metal bracket on the Team Names module.
3. Slide the front panel slightly upwards, then
gently dislodge the panel at its base (Fig.
8.2-2) and remove it from its casing (Fig.
8.2-3).
4. With a screwdriver remove the screws
from the LED display board; slightly
distance the board from its position (Fig.
8.2-4) in order to remove the flat cable
connector.
5. Insert the flat cable connector in the new
board and then tighten the screws.
6. Reposition the front panel and refasten it
to the board.
7. Supply power to the board again to check
if it works properly.
8.3.
Replacing a control board
This procedure can be done without having to de-install the scoreboard.
1. Remove the front panel (as described in chapter 8.2, paragraph 1-3) of the module containing the control
board in need of replacement.
2. With a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the four end nuts located at the two far ends of the metal support base
covering all the display boards (Fig. 8.3-2).
3. Distance the support base containing the display boards from the bottom of the scoreboard (Fig. 8.3-3): be
careful not to disengage the display boards and connection cables.
4. Identify the control board (or boards) housed inside the support base (Fig. 8.4); the malfunctioning boards are
