This section documents the limitations that apply to the use of the Boat Ramp Kit.

Maximum Slope
The maximum incline/decline along the direction of the C40 / C90 Trackway

The maximum incline/decline across the width of the C40 / C90 Trackway

20 (5% gradient).

Uneven Ground
The C40 / C90 Trackway
®
Boat Ramp may be laid over hummocks or depressions that do not
exceed 150mm, but open ditches should be filled.
Tree stumps or rocks greater than 75mm should be cleared before laying the C40 / C90

Vehicle Types
The C40 / C90 Trackway
®
Boat Ramp is designed for rubber-tyred or rubber-padded vehicles.
If tracked vehicles with steel grouser blades are to use the C40 / C90 Trackway
®
Boat Ramp,
then timber dunnage should be applied to protect the surface of the C40 / C90 Trackway
®
Boat Ramp from the tracks.
Tracked vehicles should preferably enter and leave the C40 / C90 Trackway
®
Boat Ramp at
the ends and not over the sides to eliminate the risk of grousers locking under the C40/C90
Trackway
®
Boat Ramp edges when slewing.
Do not slew on the C40 / C90 Trackway
®
