Installation:
Bottle trap Instruction for: (See diagram A)

1. Apply lubricant to 40mm DVW pipe and the rubber o-rings in the flange
2. Cut 40mm DVW pipe to ensure no more than 15mm is protruding from the finished wall
surface.
3. Cut outlet tube to required length.
4. Push flange onto outlet tube.
5. Push outlet tube into 40mm DVW pipe and push flange back until flush with wall surface.
6. Unscrew outlet nut on bottle trap. Remove enclosed washer and place onto ‘upstream’
end of the outlet pipe.
7. Connect ‘upstream’ end of the outlet pipe to the bottle trap using nut.
8. Connect trap to plug and waste using adjustable inlet tube and nuts. Note there is an
adaptor supplied to suit 32-40mm connections.
9. Tighten all compression nuts and bottom service plug and water test to ensure no leaks

1. Apply lubricant to 40mm DVW pipe and the rubber washer in the flange
2. Cut 40mm DVW pipe to ensure no more than 10mm is protruding from the finished wall surface.
3. Remove rubber adaptor seal from outlet tube.
4. Cut outlet tube to required length.
5. Push flange onto outlet tube.
6. Replace Rubber adaptor seal onto outlet tube
7. Push outlet tube into 40mm DVW pipe and push flange back until flush with wall surface.
8. Unscrew outlet nut on bottle trap. Remove enclosed washer and place onto ‘upstream’ end of
the outlet pipe.
9. Connect ‘upstream’ end of the outlet pipe to the bottle trap using nut.
10. Connect trap to plug and waste using adjustable inlet tube and nuts. Note there is an adaptor
supplied to suit 32-40mm connections. This is screwed loosely onto top of bottle trap.
11. Tighten all compression nuts and bottom service plug and water test to ensure no leaks
