Usage instructions
Supplies
1. Assembly of the supply shelves:
•
Turn the base plate of the supply shelf vertically
•
Set one of the shelves in the lower slot of the base
plate so that the screw is positioned into the indent
•
Use the special separate screws (included in the
package) to attach the shelf on the base plate
•
Repeat the procedure for the front shelf, making
sure that as little as possible space is left between
the shelf and the slot
•
Move the supply shelves to their place by aligning
the extensions on both ends of the plate to the
slots in the back side of the device
2. Preparing Rapid Heavyduty 210 Stapler
•
Move the base plate of the Rapid Stapler in the
area between Staple box slots (12) and Cover
measurer illustrations (14)
•
Slide the plate toward center of the main plate
until it meets the stopper
•
Press the plate carefully down until it snaps in place
•
Move the Stapler (4) on the base, making sure that
the stapling area matches the height of the main
support plate
1. Selecting the staple
Place the paper block on support plate (1) against Staple
measurer (13) to discover which Staple is suitable. The block
(with Stripe or End Sheets) must be exactly as high or lower than
the illustration. The selected staple type can be found from the
Staple box shelf (12) sitting directly behind the illustration.
2. Selecting the hard cover
Measure the thickness of an appropriate cover by placing the
block against Cover measurer (14). The appropriate block
must be exactly as thick or thinner than the illustrated block.
3. Changing Staples for Rapid Stapler
Select an appropriate staple type from the boxes, click Staple-
clip opener button (4a) on top of Rapid Stapler and insert
appropriate stapling cassette in the clip.
4. Selecting Stapling Base for Rapid Stapler
If the block is less than 14 mm thick, make sure that the narrow
end of the Stapling Base (4c) is facing the stapler. If the block
exceeds 14 mm in thickness, turn the wider end of the stapling
base (4c) against stapler.
5. Stapling with Rapid Stapler
Once appropriate Stapling Base (4c) direction has been
selected and the paper block aligned with the appropriate
binding supplies (BooXTer Stripe or End Sheet), support the
block with one hand, while pressing the Stapler Handle (4a)
down firmly with the other.
3. Preparing the Magnetic book size indicator
•
Slide the indicator beneath the main support
plate so that the blue color matches your area
standard
•
ISO 216: 1st row (5a)
•
North American Letter: 2nd row (5b)
4. Preparing the rest of the supplies
•
Place the Rapid Staple boxes (15) to their
appropriate locations in Staple box slots (12)

(6, 7) on front side of the main support plate
•
