Parts List and Tools Required

ATTACH STEERING YOKE

STEP 1:

 Remove the washer and cotter 

pin from the front axle mounting stud. 

Press angled front axle brace (installed in 

Procedure 1) down and away from axle.

STEP 4: 

Install washer and cotter pin. Bend 

cotter pin. Use pliers if needed.

STEP 2:

 Squeeze yoke ends together and 

slide ends between straight and angled 

axle braces.

STEP 5:

 Take the shoulder bolt, insert it 

up through the mounting hole, and add the 

flat washer and locknut.  

 

Verify that the shoulder is through all 

frame members and tighten the bolt 

until the bolt threads extend through 

the locking material of the nut. Check 

operation. Yoke should move freely. 

STEP 3:

 Align mounting hole with the 

mounting stud and release yoke, allowing 

it to snap into place over the mounting 

stud.

ATTENTION:

 Use the long shoulder bolt 

with the longest shoulder. There is only 

one bolt with a long shoulder. There are 

three (3) bolts with short shoulders.
