Work Configuration
Transport the Tedder to the area of work (See
“Transport Mode” in Operation section). Always
comply with federal, state, local and provincial
laws regarding the transport of farm equipment on
pubic roadways.

The equipment must be configured into Work
Mode for proper field operation.
From the operator’s position, manually and
simultaneously pull the two strings to unlock the
rams from their mechanical locking devices (Item
1) on each wing
[Figure 12] .
WARNING
AVOID INJURY OR DEATH
Before unlocking the wings, look in all directions
and make sure no bystanders, especially small
children, are in the work area.

The wings will descend once unlocked.
Three-Point Models - Lower the hydraulic lifter
until the equipment front tines skim the soil.
Pull-Type Models - Verify the equipment inclination
in respect to the ground with tines skimming the
soil. Make sure the support jack is in the storage
position.
