1. Place the pintle hitch (1, Figure 40 ) at the desired
height (see Pintle Hitch Adjustment on page 80).
2. Install the three 1" x 7" bolts (2), 1" lock washers, 1"
lock nuts (3) and tighten.
Installing The Hitch Frame Rockshaft

1. Position the hitch frame rockshaft (1, Figure 41 )
under the frame and align the four bearing liners with
the rockshaft mounts (2) on the hitch frame.
NOTE: Bearing liners must be located inside the two
tabs. See Figure 43 .
2. Install four bearing liners (3, Figure 41 ) onto the
rockshaft.
3. Place strap (4) as shown and install a bolt (5) through
the mount and strap (both sides)
4. Attach a lifting device to the straps.

5. Place the four large halves of the bearing castings (1,
Figure 42 ) on the top of the bearing liners.
6. Install a 3/4" x 7" bolt (2) in the front hole of the
rockshaft bearing mount down through each bearing
half.
7. Raise the rockshaft slowly aligning the bolts with the
bearings until the four bearing castings fully contact
the rockshaft bearing mounts.
