Maintenance - Round Bale Carrier 2400

Lubricate the following grease locations EVERY 50
HOURS:

Figure 46

Using a brush, apply a SAE light machine oil (or
equivalent) to pusher chain (Item 1) 

[Figure 46]

 several

times during the season and before storing for an
extended period of time.

PUSHER CHAIN AND SPROCKET

Inspection

Inspect and tighten chain and sprockets after the first 10
hours of operation and every 50 hours thereafter.

•

Tightening adjustment bolts (clockwise) increases
tension and loosening adjustment bolts (counter
clockwise) reduces pusher chain tension.

•

Both adjustment bolts should be tightened equally.

•

Proper pusher chain tension may be verified by
raising the chain by hand.

•

Verify that there is even tension on both pusher
chains.

Before you leave the operator’s position:
•

Always park on a flat level surface.

•

Place all controls in NEUTRAL.

•

Engage the park brake.

•

Stop the engine and remove the key.

•

Wait for all moving parts to stop.
