Operation - 13” Conventional Auger

PTO BELT DRIVE / DIRECT DRIVE

Connecting PTO Shaft

Figure 141

Position tractor next to auger frame.

Retract collar (Item 1) on PTO yoke to retract lock
pin and slide yoke over tractor shaft

Pull on yoke to make sure lock pin clicks into place.

Install PTO driveline safety chain (Item 2)

WARNING

AVOID INJURY OR DEATH

Do NOT exceed 1000 RPM PTO.

Keep PTO shields and all guards in place.

Keep away from moving parts.

Keep bystanders away.

Disconnecting PTO Shaft

Disengage the PTO and lower engine RPM speed.

WARNING

AVOID INJURY OR DEATH

Wait for all moving parts to stop before
disconnecting PTO.

Remove safety chain (Item 2)
