hOW TO USE YOUR RIVETING TOOL
(fig.
f1-f2
)
The riveting tool
RAC 210
is equipped with a suction nail
system which increases a lot the usefulness of this tool. In
fact, it allows the rivet to remain in the nozzle even turning the
head of the riveting tool downwards.
Do not kee the rivet with
your fingers
! To make the system operate, press the button
(
A
) and release it to exclude it. In that way, suction takes place
simultaneously with riveting, thus avoiding air consumption
when your riveting tool is idle. After the clamping, the sheared
nail is piped by the riveting tool and ejected from the back into
the proper container (
B
).
When the container (
B
) is full of nails do not use the riveting
tool. Disconnect the tool, unscrew the container (
B
) and empty
it.
DO NOT DISPERSE ANY NAIL!
Screw the container and
start again to work.
WARNING!
Do not remove the container (
B
)
during the riveting operation, as the nail ejection
can cause damages to the worker or to persons
who are nearby the work surface.

MAINTENACE AND ChANGE OF SIZE
(fig.

)
The extended utilization of the riveting tool can cause the slipping
of the clamps on the nail due to the deposited impurities. For this
reason, it is necessary to lubricate the clamps after having cleaned
them with benzine or derivates. However, if clamps are worn out
and as a consequence their working is jeopardized, replace them.
First remove the head which carries the nozzle (
A
), by means
of a standard spanner of 24 mm. Then, by using two standard
spanners of 12 mm and 14 mm, remove the chuck (
B
) and
extract the clamps (
C
).
When replacing the nozzle (
D
), we recommend to use the
supplied wrench and fit the removed nozzle in it in order to
avoid losing the nozzle.
