FREEZER OPERATION
Temperature adjustment
Indicator lights
The temperature of the freezer is adjusted the thermostat knob:
OFF : Power off
1—5 : Temperature setting (from -12°C to -30°C respectively)
The achieved temperatures can vary according to the conditions of use of the
appliance, such as: installation place of the appliance, ambient temperature, frequency
of lid opening, and extent of filling the freezer. The position of the thermostat knob
will be set according to these factors. Normally, for an ambient temperature of
approx. 25°C, the thermostat should be adjusted to the middle position.
We recommended that you check the temperature with a thermometer to ensure that
the freezer is set to the desired temperature. Remember you must take your reading
very quickly since the thermometer temperature will rise very rapidly after you
remove it from the freezer.
Please remember each time the lid is opened cold air escapes and the internal
temperature rises. Therefore never leave the lid open and ensure it is closed
immediately after food is put in or removed.
The indicator light set is placed on the front side of the freezer for easy visibility.
• Green: POWER:
the appliance is powered on.
• Red:
ALARM:
the temperature inside raises, it is higher than -12°C.
In case of red ALARM light, it is relevant to check the temperature, find out the
cause of the raising and adjust the setting if necessary.

DEFROST
CLEANING
Important:
Do not use knives or metal objects to defrost.
To defrost partially the freezer compartment, you can remove the frost with a scraper.
If the frost thickness is more that 10 mm, you need to do a fully defrost. Please follow
the below process to do it:
1.
Remove all foods, ice cube tray and shelf of the freezer and
freezer compartment (store them in other cold place)
2.
Turn the thermostat knob to
OFF
and leave the freezer door
opened.
3.
Clean and wipe out the melted frost with a cloth.
4.
After
defrosting,
turn
the
thermostat
knob
to
origin
position.

We recommend that you switch off the freezer at the socket outlet and pull out the
mains plug before cleaning.
2.
Never use any sharp abrasive instrument, soap, household cleaner, detergent and
wax polish for cleaning.
3.
Use lukewarm water to clean the cabinet of the freezer and wipe it dry.
4.
Use a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to
one pint of water to clean the interior and wipe it dry.
5.
Excess deposit of ice should be removed on a regular basis using a plastic ice
scraper available from your local store. Large accumulation of ice will impair the
performance of the freezer.
6.
If the freezer is not going to be used for a long period of time switch it off, remove
all food, clean it and leave the lid ajar.
7.
Check lid seals regularly to ensure they are clean and free from food particles.
Thermostat Adjustment Knob
CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB
The light bulb is located at the center of the inner side of freezer door which illuminates to provide
clear view of the whole freezer.
Before removing the light bulb, turn off the freezer first and then unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
1. Use the screwdriver to take out screw.
2. Remove the light cover by pulling downwards gently
3. Unscrew the bulb
4. Replace with a max 15 watt bulb that is the same shape and size.
5. Use the screwdriver to tighten the screw.
