To protect your vacuum cleaner motor from overheating, a thermal safety device has been

built in. If your vacuum cleaner hose or air intake clogs up with dust or dirt, or if your dust

bag becomes full and you continue to run the machine, the vacuum will shut off

automatically to prevent the motor from overheating. If this happens, turn off slide  switch

and disconnect your vacuum from power outlet, remove the material clogging the machine

and let your vacuum cool down for approximately 45 minutes. You can then restart your

vacuum cleaner and use it again.

fit the outlet, contact an electrician to replace the outlet.

Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the

grounding pin, part of the 3-prong plug.
