5. Upgrading the Firmware
The firmware is the operating system (OS) installed on the device. Firmware upgrades can
bring new features, improvements and bug fixes.

You can also use the following method to upgrade the firmware:

Copy ‘install.img’ to the root directory of a USB key;

Plug the USB key to the USB HOST port on the player;

connect the player with power supply;
-
Press and hold the POWER button on the front panel, and Wait for more than 10 seconds,
and then loose your finger on the POWER button.
Then the upgrade process will start automatically. The LED indicator on the front panel will be
enlightened and flashing during installation. If it is connected to a TV set, an install page will
appear on the TV screen.
