The new Coolpix S200 camera brings world-class photographic results to
professionals and amateurs alike, packed into a sleek compact casing.
A recent addition to the COOLPIX line of cameras is a slim, lightweight model with
an impressive imaging performance of 7.1 megapixels, optical image stabilization
(VR), and sporting a 2.5-inch large, bright LCD monitor. It supports smooth
composition as well as enjoyable image playback anywhere. Measuring just
18.5mm, the stylish aluminum body of the Coolpix S200 blends an attractive
design with modern features. The S200 offers a focus range of 60cm in Camera
Mode or 10cm in Macro Mode, making it possible to accurately capture the detail
and color of both the smallest nature shot and the widest landscape panorama as
well as augmenting the digital camera's versatility underwater. The optical
stabilization (VR) feature compensates for camera shake to produce clearer,
steadier images, especially when shooting moving objects like underwater life. In
combination with the high-sensitivity mode, which extends to ISO 1000, the VR
functions also enables the user to take quality photographs in lower light
conditions. Packed within the Coolpix S200, three unique Nikon innovations make
