Periphal Connections/Preamp
Signal In Jack
On the very left side fo the frontpanel you will fi nd a
6,35mm mono style input jack for the connection of
your electric guitar.
Phones
For quiet practicing at home you can also use
optional headphones. For best performance and a
brilliant sound, we recommend our Fame DT 790
studio headphones. Please note that the overall
volume of the amplifi er will infl uence the master
volume of your headphones.
CONNECTIONS ON THE BACK
Mains
This jack is used to connect the GS2-158D to a
grounded power outlet. Please make sure that the
power cord works correctly and has a shielded plug.
PREAMP OF THE GS2-158D
Clean
In this mode, the amplifi er produces a very bril-
liant and percussive sound. Due to the fact, that the
GS2-158D features a very small loudspeaker,
you will notice an enhancement on mid and high
frequencies.
Overdrive
This mode features an overdrive of the amplifi er’s
preamp. The range goes from a slight overdrive up
to high gain distortion sounds.
Your guitar cord is an important part of our signal chain and its quality and
construction type clearly affect the overall tone of your rig. Try and buy the
best quality cord you can or want to afford for maximum sound!
