                                                               supplied with the product at time of 

      shipment. Inspect the visual indicator. Do not attach in a manner that 

  could side-load the gate. Remove the unit from service immediately if it is 

subjected to fall arrest or equivalent forces.

                                                  See instruction manual for important information regarding fall clearance 

                                                  requirements and swing fall. This unit is not suitable for horizontal use nor 

  for horizontal lifeline applications. Swing fall is not permitted when using this  device. This  unit is for use 

with an overhead anchorage only. Avoid contact with sharp edges and abrasive surfaces. Read and 

understand the manufacturer's user instruction manual, including labels and warnings,before  using this

 product. See manufacturer's user instruction manual for complete inspection procedures.

                                                     Inspect the unit before each use. Ensure locking system 

                                                     functions correctly by pulling sharply on the lifeline. The lifeline

 must lock. Ensure connecting hardware functions normally. See user instructional  manual 

for information regarding lifeline operational length and end of lifeline reserve.

Class B arrest distance less than 54”    

Avg. arrest force less than 900lbs.

Max free fall: 2’

Dual-Mode SRL-R Unit Rescue/Retrieval Operation Instructions

1)

 Unfold black collapsible handle.  Hand crank assembly should now rotate freely in both directions while 

  in the self-retracting  “Fall Arrest” mode.  (Hand crank assembly will be extended out from the SRL-R 

 unit body)  

2)

To convert SRL-R to “Rescue/Retrieval” mode, pull out  crank engagement pin while 

 depressing hand crank assembly into unit. 

3)

 Release crank engagement pin while keeping pressure on 

 hand crank assembly. 

4) 

Rotate hand crank assembly clockwise to engage rescue/retrieval mechanism; 

  crank engagement pin should be fully retracted into the SRL-R body. 

5) 

To raise personnel, rotate handle 

  counter-clockwise.  To lower personnel, rotate handle clockwise.To convert SRL-R to “Fall Arrest” mode, pull 

    out crank engagement pin while pulling the hand crank assembly away from the SRL-R body, then 

      release knob.
