it is now possible to let the car system vehicles stop, turn off right or left of to go straight ahead, just as you like everywhere in the layout, just as is required by traffic situation.
Before beginning the connstfuction work, please read through these instructions carefully and thoroughly. Take the work slowly, step by step, making sure that
everything is to your statisfaction before proceeding.
Should any part of the car system give cause for complaint, please do not hasitate to contract the FALLER service department.
We will do our best to make everything run smoothly.
Important
In order to be able to use and connect in the article 162056, it is necessary to have the article 162055 already available, to connect in parallel.
Installation of the traffic light and fitting in the layout
Please assemble the individual parts of the traffic light post according to the assembly sketch (A-D). Fitting the traffic light into the layout is done in accordance with sketch (F).
Connecting the traffic lights to the switch control
Connect both the traffic lights included onto the switch control unit, as shown in sketch (H), in accordance with the wiring diagram.
The two connection points 3 and 4 are designed for the connection of two additional traffic lights ( Art. No. 162056).
Fitting of the stop-sections
It is best to fix the stop sections using two screws under the layout as shown in sketch (I).To make it easier for the stop section to be mounted centrally, drill a small locating
hole 1,2 mm diameter, from above in the roadway. Make sure to keep exactly to the measurements shown.
Connecting up the stop-sections
Connect up the stop sections as shown in assembly sketch (H).
Join the wires onto the contract strips in the same manner described earlier in the section “connection of the traffic lights“
Fault Finding
The whole apparatus does not work:
- check the transformer.
- check the transformer connection.
The traffic lights do not light up:
- check the individual wiring connections.
- LED defekt; exchange. Spares are available from our service department.
Stop-section does not work:
- check the connections of the individual wires.
- check the connection of the reed switch in the vehicle by testing it over a second coil. If necessary change the reed contact.
- Is everything correctly mounted? Ensure that the correct measurements have been observed, and adjust them if necesarry.
