3.2. Falcon F-701
The Falcon F-701 does not have a control unit but is only a blackbox. Externally there can be
connected some in- and outputs. Refer to paragraph 2.3.3 and Appendix B for these
connections.
3.2.1. External MOB switch
This button has the same functionality as the MOB button on the F-700. By pressing the
MOB button for 5 seconds, a alarm signal will sound at all channels. The volume of each
channel is set to maximum. By pressing the button again for 1 second, the alarm will switch
off.
3.2.2. External CALL switch
By pressing the external call switch, a call will send to the main station.
3.2.3. Relay speak/listen
This relay indicates if the substation is in speak- or listen mode. If the relay contact is closed,
audio is send from the substation to the mainstation (speakmode).
3.2.4. External headset L/R
At these audio outputs a headset can be connected.
3.2.5. External speaker output
At this audio output a speaker can be connected.
Caution: if this speaker also should function as microphone, jumper J1 should be
placed. Factory default this jumper is placed.
3.2.6. external microfoon
At this audio input a microphone can be connected.
