Straightener which has been designed and
manufactured to give you many years of
trouble-free service.
You may already be familiar with using a
similar product, but do please take time to
read these instructions - they have been
written to ensure you get the very best from
your purchase.
Safety is important
For yours and others safety please read
the instructions before using the appliance.
Please keep this instruction in a safe place
for the further use. If you pass the appliance
on, pass on the instructions too. Remove
all packaging, but keep it until you are
satisfied that the appliance is working.
Important Safeguards
When use electrical appliances, basic
safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following.
• Before operating your appliance, make
sure the power rating of your appliance
does in fact match that of your electrical
system
• Do not use this appliance near water
contained in basins like bathtubs,
washbasins, etc.
• Do not keep and use this appliance in
humid areas (such as bathrooms, etc).
• Do not use the appliance with wet hands
or let water drop on the appliance. If water
drops on the appliance, it may cause
electric shock or injury.
• Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to an authorized
Fakir Service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
• Unplug the appliance from power outlet
when the appliance is not in use.
• If your appliance has fallen into water, do
not try to reach it.
• Do not try to repair or disassemble the
appliance by yourself.
• Never use an extension cord. Plug the
appliance directly in to the electrical outlet.
• Take care to not drop the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance if it is wet.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors or where
aerosol spray products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not abuse the electrical cord. Never
disconnect from outlet by pulling the power
cord. Always use the body of the plug for
disconnecting the appliance.
• Do not bend the power cord. Do not keep
the folded power cord.
• Do not put the appliance in its box at once
after using it. After operating, your appliance
will keep warm for a while.
• Do not use any abrasive substance for
cleaning the appliance.
• Do not allow children to use or play with
the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance in the
presence of explosive and flammable fumes
or liquids.
• Keep the power cord away from heated
surfaces.
• Do not touch the plates when the appliance
is operating. While operating, handle the
appliance from the plastic surface where
LCD display is placed. Because the
aluminum part of the hair straightener gets
warm during operation, avoid handling the
appliance from aluminum surface.
• Wait until the appliance is cool before
storage.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when
the appliance plugged in.
• To disconnect the appliance, first switch
off the appliance, then remove plug from
wall outlet.
• You could clean the plates and the surface
of the appliance with a damp cloth.
• While operating, never leave the appliance
on any smooth surfaces such as carpets,
fabrics, cushions, etc.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless
