Boiling Water with the Device
Pour water into compartment of the device, making sure the water does not exceed the
maximum level. If water exceeds the maximum level on the coffee pot, the water may spill
over when it boils.
Turn on the device by setting the on / off switch to “on” position. Turn off the device by
setting the on / off switch to “off” position when water starts to boil. Since your device will
not turn off automatically, you should set the on / off switch to “off” mode
CAUTION!!!
Never boil milk in the device. Otherwise the milk will stick on the heater and create a
blackish-brown layer. And this will harm the device. With this device, you can only boil
water or make coffee. Do not use for any other purposes.
Cleaning and Maintenance of the Appliance
Before starting to clean your device, please read the Important Safety Informations
carefully.
Make sure that the device is set to “off” position, is unplugged from the wall outlet and the
body is completely cold.
Protect the devices’ power connections from the water and never wash it in a dishwasher.
You can use a mildly damp cloth to clean the outer surface of your appliance.
While cleaning the power base, make sure that it is unplugged from the power outlet and
the dust cloth is dry.
Never clean your device with chemicals such as bleach and hydrochloric acid.
The lime in the water will accumulate and burn on the bottom of the container, creating
a brown layer. Prepare a mixture of vinegar and citric acid, and add this mixture into
compartment with boiled water than boil it again.
After this, pour out the lime and rinse your device with water.
If you are going to heat or boil some water after preparing coffee and the compartment is
dirty, wash the compartment with some detergent and rinse it to prevent the smell of coffee
of mixing with water.
CAUTION!
Never wash the device in dishwasher or under direct running water. You can wash the
water compartment of the device under running water. But you must keep the power
base, which contains electrical circuits, away from water.
