If necessary, the LARYVOX
®
mask can additionally be disinfected with a suitable disin-
fectant. When doing this, the disinfectant manufacturer‘s instructions for use must be
observed. After disinfection, rinse with clear water to avoid contact of the patient with
the disinfectant.
As required in each individual case, the LARYVOX
®
mask can be thermally disinfected,
i.e. disinfected by boiling (for at least 5 minutes in hot water at 100 degrees Celsius/212
degrees Fahrenheit). A time period of 10 minutes should not be exceeded.
CAUTION
It is not permissible to clean the one-way valve in boiling water.
Allow the LARYVOX
®
mask to cool down before using it again to avoid scalds
and burns.
The LARYVOX
®
mask can be autoclaved or sterilised with ethylene oxide (EO)
using validated techniques.

for use. This applies – to the extent permitted by law – both to damages to the products
