POSSIBLE ERRORS ON POWER UP
The following error messages can appear on the CRT of the VNP400 on power up.
RAM ERROR
It occurs when detecting a RAM memory fault.
Turn the DRO off and back on.

If the error persists, Call the service department of FAGOR AUTOMATION.

If the error disappears, check the machine parameters and part programs since the error
may have altered their contents.
GENERAL PARAMETER ERROR
It occurs when detecting a malfunction at the general machine parameters.
The DRO will initialize this table with the factory settings. See the section on “Reset
Parameters”.
Re-enter the appropriate values.
PARAMETER ERROR, AXIS 1
PARAMETER ERROR, AXIS 2
PARAMETER ERROR, AXIS 3
PARAMETER ERROR, AXIS 4
It occurs when detecting a malfunction at the machine parameters for the indicated axis.
The DRO will initialize this table with the factory settings. See the section on “Reset
Parameters”.
Re-enter the appropriate values.
VARIABLE VALUE ERROR
It occurs when detecting an improper value in any internal variable of the DRO.
Check the machine parameters and part-programs since the error may have altered their
contents.
PROGRAM ERROR
It occurs when detecting an internal memory fault and when the DRO finds non-numeric
characters in the program number or when the indicator for total number of blocks of a
program has been modified.
Check all programs.
