The fan requires little maintenance. Do not try to fix it by yourself. Bring it to a
qualified service technician if service is needed.
1. Unplug the fan before cleaning and assembling it.
2. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep the vents at the rear of the
motor housing free of dust, etc. Do not use a vacuum cleaner to clean the vents
unless the unit is unplugged. Do not disassemble the fan remove dust build-up.
3. Wipe the exterior parts with a soft cloth soaked in a mild detergent.
Do not use abrasive detergents or solvents to avoid scratching the surface.
Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals as cleaners.
4. Do not get water or any other liquid in the motor housing or interior parts.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
CLEANING
1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet before cleaning.
2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge.
Thoroughly remove soap film with clean water.
3. Be sure not to get water or other liquid inside of the motor.
4.
Dry all parts completely before reassembling and reconnecting to power
source.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Speed control
Speed is controlled by the knob:
0 (Off), 1 (Low), 2 (Medium), 3 (High).
2. Clutch knob
To make the fan oscillate, push down on the oscillation
knob. To lock the fan in the desired position, pull the
knob up.
3. Tilt adjusting
To adjust the air flow upward or downward, push the grilles gently in the desired
direction.
4. Height adjusting
Loosen the height adjustment ring on the external pole and adjust the internal
pole to the desired height. (See Fig.5)
