Verification
To verify whether the appliance has been set up
successfully:
1. Select the
Real time Usage View
option on the
Dashboard
tab.
2. Notice the counters in the
Real-Time Traffic
Summary
panel increase as appliance gets the
data feed from the SPAN port.
Factory Default
To reset the configuration of the appliance to factory
default settings:
1. Go to the
Configuration
tab »
Troubleshooting Tools
panel » click
Shut
Down/Restart
open the Shut Down/Restart
page.
2. Select
Restart System
.
3. Click
Restart
.The Boot screen appears on the
monitor connected to the appliance. The screen
times-out after 3 seconds.
4. Press any key within 3 seconds.
5. Select
Factory Default
.
Powering Off
The unit can be shut down using the Web-based
administration interface. Do the following to shut
down the unit:
1. Go to the
Configuration
tab »
Troubleshooting Tools
panel » click
Shut
Down/Restart
to open the Shut Down/Restart
page.
2. Select
Shut Down System
.
3. Click
Shut Down
.

Caution:
When you select Factory Default
settings, your Web Filtering, Malware, IM, and
P2P security policy configuration will be deleted.
Any Web Filtering, Malware, IM, and P2P usage
statistics will also be deleted.
Note:
You can also
power off the unit manually
by pressing the Power button
on the
front panel for about 8 to 9 seconds.
