Replacing the Lamps
Remove the lights from the housing and replace the lamp with
a 20 W MR-11 halogen lamp. Make sure that the two pins
are properly inserted into the lamp holder socket. Replace
the light cover.
An alternative method to replace the lamps is to use a 1" suction
cup (
FIGURE 11
). Attach the suction cup to the bulb and pull
firmly down on the bulb and replace with a new lamp

Keyboard Lock
The control panel can be locked when the hood is open or
closed for cleaning purposes by pressing the (F) delay button
for 5 seconds. A beep and motion of the speed bars indicates
the lock has been activated. Press and hold for 5 seconds again
to unlock the keys
Charcoal Filter Saturation Alarm
The charcoal filters should be replaced
(as indicated in FIGURE
9 on page 8)
when the "C" symbol appears on the LED screen
or at least every 4 - 6 months depending on heavy usage.
To replace the charcoal filter, open the ducting panel, remove the
metal grease filters and remove the old charcoal filters and replace
with the new ones. Then replace the metal grease filters. Press
and hold the "G" button for 3 seconds to reset the filter alarm.
Charcoal Filter Alarm Activation
The filter alarm has to be activated in order to use with ductless
installations which use the charcoal filters. The alarm can be
activated upon installation or at a later time. To activate or deactive
the alarm, press and hold the "E" button for 5 seconds until 2
speed bars appear on the screen. Release the "E" key and the
clock icon appears, then press the "D" key within 3 seconds to
activate / deactive the alarm. C symbol lit indicates activated
alarm, and unlit C symbol indicates deactivated alarm.
