Each of these options is described in Table 5.1. Note that some of these
commands are not intended for use by end users. Table 5.1 also specifies
which commands are not recommended for use by users.

Exits the AOM Command Menu and returns to terminal emulation mode.

Reboots the host subsystem. In this case, the BIG-IP Traffic
Management Operating System (TMOS) is rebooted.

Halts the host subsystem. In this case, the BIG-IP Traffic Management
Operating System (TMOS) is halted.

Resets the host subsystem. In this case, the system is reset with a
hardware reset.
Important:
We do not recommend using the reset option, option

under normal circumstances. It does not allow for graceful shutdown of
the BIG-IP system.

Reboots the AOM subsystem. In this case, the AOM subsystem is reset.
L
Presents a logon prompt for the AOM subsystem. This subsystem
cannot be configured by end users.
N
Runs the AOM network configuration utility. This utility provides the
ability to reconfigure the IP address, netmask, and default gateway used
by the AOM. If you use this option while connected using SSH, your
session will be disconnected as a part of the network configuration
operation.
P
Displays information about the AOM platform.
