Cutting on the push stroke may be dangerous, since
a kickback may happen.
f
Make sure that the chain is well ten -
sioned, so as not jam during cutting.
If the chain jams during the cut, stop the engine of
the chainsaw immediately. Use a lever to lift up the
cut wood and free the chainsaw.
f
Make sure that the wood will not split during cut.
f
Make sure that the chain will not touch the ground
during cut.
SAFETY RULES ON HOw TO AVOID KICK -
BACK
kickback is a very sudden movement of the chain -
saw. It happens when the user cut an object with
the upper quadrant of the bar nose and the chain -
saw bar jumps off the object, towards the user.
kickback may become very dangerous for the user
and therefore, be extremely cautious when limb -
ing and avoid contacting the log with the nose of
the bar. Moreover, be very cautious with the limbs
under tension, since they can move backwards
and towards you like a spring, which can cause you
serious injury.

Clean the outside area of the machine

Clean the air filter and replace it if needed

Clean the chain brake

Clean the bar

Sharpen the chain
f
Functionaly check the chain lubrication
f
Check the operation of the chain brake
f
Functionaly check the operation of the stop switch
f
Check the sealing of the fuel tank and oil tank caps
f
Check the operation of the throttle lock
f
Change the direction of the bar
f
Check the chain and bar for visible damages and
cracks
f
Clean the starter
f
Make sure that the chain does not rotate at the idle
speed
f
Check the chain catcher for damages and replace if
needed
wEEKLY MAINTENANCE

Clean the cylinder area and fins
f
Check and replace the spark plug if needed
f
Check and lubricate the clutch drum bearing
f
Check the vibration elements for cracks
f
Clean the outside area of the carburator
f
Check the clutch dram sprocket for wear
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
f
Check the fuel filter and fuel hose. Replace if needed
f
Replace the brake band if less than 0,6mm
f
Clean the fuel tank and oil tank
f
Check that the electrode gap of the spark plug is
0,5mm (Figure 9)
ENVIRONMENTAL pROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
as waste. Machine, accessories and pack -
aging should be sorted for environment -
friendly recycling. The plastic components
are labeled for categorized recycling.

This product is warranted in accordance with the le -
gal/country specific regulations, effective from the
date of purchase by the first user. Damage attribut -
able to normal wear and tear, overload or improper
handling will be excluded from the guarantee. In
case of a claim, please send the machine, complete -
ly assembled, to your dealer or the service center for
electric power tools.
