PIN (Personal Identification Number)
Security code protects the phone against unauthorized use.
The service provider supplies the PIN with the SIM card.
The PIN may be a four to eight-digit number and can be
changeable, as required.
PUK (PIN Unblocking key)
Security code used to unlock the phone when you have
entered an incorrect PIN three times in succession. The
service provider supplies the eight-digit number with the
SIM card. If you input incorrect PUK 10 times, the SIM card
will be blocked and will not be able to use the SIM.
