Safety
The CH5075 patient lift reflects an innnovtive state of the art design to
enable the lifting and movement of the user. When properly maintained
as required, this lift will provide years of trouble free service.
Please pay attention to the information found in this manual regarding
care, maintenance and use of the lift. Carefully read these instructions
before asssembling the lifter, or attempting to lift anyone.
If you have any questions, or conccerns, or don’t understand the
inforamtion in this manual please contact your dealer.
1)
Special care must be taken with users/patients who are unable to
assist while being lifted. (eg. Patients who are comatose, spastic,
agitated or otherwise severly handicapped).
2)
The Ch5075 should be used solely for transferring form on utility (bed,
wheelchair, toilet, etc.) to another. The lift ashould not be used as a
transporting device to move users from one location to another.
3)
Keep the base legs spread as wide as possible during use.
4)
The base should be closed while being transported between
locations.
5)
Do not roll the lift over any object or change of level while there is a
user in the sling.
6)
Do not lock the casters while lifting or lowering.
7)
The user should always be centered on ot he lift and facing the
caregiver operting the lift.
8)
The maximum user weight ofr this lift is 400 pounds.
9)
Never leav a user unattended in the sling or during lifting.
