Instructions:
1) The commode can be used to transport the user around and
between rooms but it is not meant to be a transport device. Use for
short trips only.
2) To use in place of a toilet slip the sanitary bucket into its bracket
under the seat.
3) To use over a toilet, remove the sanitary bucket and back the
commode over the toilet.

Safety Information:
•
This commode is designed for indoor use, assistance of a
caretaker is necessary to use.
•
To lift the commode grasp the frame, not the armrest or
footrest!
•
The commode cannot used to transport users over
architectural barriers (steps, driveways, ramps).
•
Do not use the commode on soft, uneven, unprotected
surfaces such as grass, gravel or sand.
•
Using the commode on slopes with a grade higher than 5% is
dangerous – risk of falling off the wheelchair.
•
The commode cannot be used as seat in motor vehicles.
•
In order to improve user’s safety, you can attach a safety belt.
•
Do not stand on the seat of the commode
•
Do not lean excessively in any direction when sitting on the
commode
Caution:
It is dangerous to use the commode if damaged. All the repairs need
to be performed by skilled personnel.
Inspections:
The commode should be inspected every three months or more often
as needed. During the inspection one needs to:
•
Ensure brakes are undamaged and work securely
•
Check for loose or missing screws and hardware
•
Check wheels for wear or damage and ensure they rotate freely (a
grinding noise may indicate bearings are worn and need
adjustment or replacement)
•
Check frame joints for cracks or damage
