Upgrade Menu (2xx and 3xx Devices)
Click
Upgrade
(see figure 31 on page 43) to open the
Upgrade Device Firmware
dialog box used to upgrade the firmware of one or more VN-Matrix devices (see figure 43).
ATTENTION :
•
Ensure that compatible firmware is used to upgrade the selected VN-Matrix
devices.
• Assurez vois qu'un firmware compatible est utilisé pour mettre à jour les appareils
VN-Matrix sélectionnés.
• Upgrading with incorrect firmware can cause the VN-Matrix devices to stop
responding.

NOTE: When the VNM EC 200 is running in secure mode (see System Config Page on
page 28), devices cannot be upgraded. Take the controller out of secure mode for
the upgrades, then place it back in secure mode after completing the upgrades.

Select a Version — This drop-down list contains previously uploaded firmware
versions that are available.

Upload New Version — Click Browse to upload new firmware versions. New
firmware versions uploaded to the VNM EC 200 are added to the Select a Version
drop-down list.
To upgrade the firmware:
1. Select a device or multiple devices from the Devices page (see Devices Page
Features on page 39).
2. Click Upgrade on the Actions toolbar (see figure 31 on page 43).

Select the desired version from the Select a Version drop-down list
(see figure 43,

) and click Upgrade (

).
If the desired version is not available in the Select a Version drop-down list:
1. Select a device or multiple devices from the Devices page (see Devices Page
Features on page 39).
2. Click Upgrade on the Actions toolbar.

Click Browse (see figure 43,

) and navigate to the appropriate location of the
firmware. When the firmware is selected, it is uploaded to the VNM EC 200.
