Auto-Image
When Auto-Image is performed, the DSC attempts to size and position the image to fill
the display screen (fill mode) or use the native aspect ratio of the input (follow mode).
Using SIS commands or the OSD submenus, you can perform a one-time Auto-Image on
the current input.
Only the horizontal and vertical positioning and the horizontal and vertical size are
adjusted by the Auto-Image. All other controls are left unchanged.
•
If the aspect ratio has been set to Fill, the H and V position returns to 0,0, and the H
and V Size is set to match the current output rate.
•
If the aspect ratio has been set to Follow, the H and V position and size are set to
maintain the native aspect ratio of the input rate with respect to the current output
resolution.
Auto-Image is useful in applications in which a variety of new input sources may be
encountered (such as when a matrix switcher is connected). It is also useful for centering
and sizing an image that has been adjusted out of default settings.
You can perform a one-time Auto-Image by the following methods:
