Power Supplies for Use with Your
Switch
750 W AC Power Supply
750 W DC Power Supply
Each VSP 7400 Series switch runs with two replaceable internal power supply units that provide all of
the power needed for the switch to operate. You can remove one power supply without interrupting the
switch's operation.
The power supply units can be connected to either an AC power source or a DC power source.

750 W AC Power Supply
Two 750 W AC power supply options, with front-to-back or back-to-front airflow, are provided for VSP
and SLX series switches.

Note
AC power input cords are not provided with AC power supplies. You can order an appropriate
cord from Extreme Networks or from your local supplier. The power cord must meet the
requirements listed in
Power Cord Requirements for AC-Powered Switches and AC Power
