NOTE!
The Accessory Bay Drawer is intended for use as
temporary
storage only of source music devices.
This drawer is not designed
to be 100% weatherproof, as such, small amounts of water may enter
this part of the cabinet.
Maintenance
Your new speaker system is made of very rugged materials and
components to ensure years of trouble-free performance. However, in
order to extend the “like-new” appearance and life well beyond the
warranty period, proper maintenance procedures are necessary and
summarized as follows:
Cabinets – Since all natural stone has some level of porosity, it is
important that a high quality sealer be used periodically.
We use, and recommend, a water based color enhancing
penetrating stone sealer to keep the veneer finish looking
its best. If our systems are exposed directly to rain, snow
and ice, then treating the cabinets every 6 months is
recommended.
Indirect exposure, will reduce the
application of fresh sealer to about every 12 months. A
good test is to clean the top of a cabinet and sprinkle a few
drops of water to see if they bead on the surface. If you
don’t see a nice round water bead, then it’s time to reapply
sealer. To remove dirt build-up, simply wipe cabinet with
soft damp cloth.
Grills –
Dirt should be removed from the plastic speaker grills with
a damp cloth. For very dirty grills, it may be necessary to
gently brush grills with a soft bristle brush, then wiped with
a damp cloth.
NOTE!
Water should never be streamed directly into speaker drivers
for the purpose of cleaning.
minimum of two holes [four preferred] will need to be
marked/drilled. If only two holes are used, then top two outer
holes or the top-center and bottom-center should be used. If
mounting to wooden stud-wall, the top-center and bottom-center
should be used.
3.
Brick/Masonry Wall Mount -
Using a 5/16” masonry bit, drill holes as
marked, 1-3/4” deep to insert a 1-1/2” wall anchor into each hole.
Ensure the wall anchor seats flush to the masonry surface. Align
WMP to wall anchors and insert 2 to 4 1-3/4” lag screws and tighten
firmly using a phillips screwdriver.
3.
Wooden Stud-Wall Mount -
A minimum of 2 lag screws must be
securely fastened to a wooden stud
to provide sufficient strength to
support the 30 pound weight of the speaker system. Locate a stud in
the desired mounting location, select/mark the top-center and bottom-
center holes for this purpose, as noted in step 2a.
