When you freeze fresh foods whit a ‘use by /best before/best by/’ date, you must freeze them before 

the expiry of this date.

Check that the food was not already frozen. Indeed, frozen food that has thawed completely must not 

be refrozen.

Once defrosted, food should be consumed quickly.     

 
 
 

MAKING ICE CUBES     

1. Slide the ice cube maker out of the ice cube box and then remove the cover. 
2. Before using the ice cube maker for the first time, clean all the surfaces of the ice cube maker. 
3. Fill the ice cube trays with potable water only. Attach the cover to the ice cube maker. 
4. Carefully slide the ice cube maker with cover into the ice cube box. 
5. Put the ice cube maker with box in the freezer compartment. 
6. Wait until the ice cubes form in the ice cube maker. Rotate the knob clockwise and then ice cubes will 
fall into the ice cube box. 
7. Get ice from the ice cube box and serve.     

 

DEFROSTING 

This appliance is equipped with a frost free system.   
This system enables the freezer compartment to remain permanently ice-free, however, the food stored 
in the freezer drawers will not defrost.   
   
 
 

TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY 

For the most energy efficient use of your appliance:

Ensure your appliance has adequate ventilation as recommended in the installation instructions.

Allow warm food and drinks to cool down before placing in the appliance.   

x

Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator compartment and use the low temperature of the frozen food to   

  cool refrigerated food.

Keep door openings to a minimum. 

x

Open the appliance as briefly as possible.

Ensure that the fridge and freezer doors are always closed properly.
