STEAM IRON INSTRUCTIONS

Read the instructions carefully before use and keep it

1.  The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced 

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, 

unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

2.  Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.
3.  Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
4.  Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
5.  The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or 

separate remote-control system.

6.  If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its 

service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

7.  The appliance is for indoor use only.
8.  The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to the mains supply.
9.  If the iron is put down during use, it must be placed on a stable surface.
10. Before placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the stand is located on a stable 

surface.

11. The iron must not be used if it has been dropped, or if there are signs of damage 

or if it is leaking.

12. The plug must be removed from the mains socket before the water reservoir is 

filled with water. (For steam irons and irons incorporating a water spray.)

Safety instructions

1.  Before using for the first time, please check whether the voltage rating on the 

rating plate corresponds to the mains voltage in your home.

2.  Be sure to unplug the appliance from the socket when leaving the iron even 

for a short while, and stand the iron on its end. Put the iron out of the reach of 

children.

3.  The iron will get very hot when used. In order to avoid the accidents, do not 

touch it with your hand or bring it close to flammable items.
