Q: Can I recharge the OMEGA with a solar panel through
a window?
A:
You can, but it’s not recommended. Some of the sunlight
will be blocked by the iron content in glass. In addition to
this, some of the light gets reflected, meaning that a signifi-
cant amount of power will be lost. This will vary depending
on the specific glass used as well as other factors, but the
power loss could be in excess of 50%.
Troubleshooting
If your device cannot be charged by the OMEGA, follow
these steps:
1. Ensure the correct Output Port has been switched on. The
LED light on the front panel should be lit up.
2. Fully charge your OMEGA. If battery is below 20% or starts
beeping, charge right away.
3. Verify your device is suitable for use with the OMEGA .
Each output ports has its own max power output. Check the
Specifications to ensure your device does not exceed output
capacity.
The OMEGA is made to provide steady power for longer run
times rather than high power at shorter run times.
