Additional Features
This chapter will show additional features of gigaSOM Carrier.
4.1
Buttons
The gigaSOM carrier features three different buttons. These are two power gigaSOm module reset
and system reset .
4.1.1
Power
The gigaSOM
module will perform a power reset when this button (S7) is pressed. Button (S9) is
reserved and it is not used.
4.1.2
Reset
The gigaSOM
module will perform a hard reset when this button (S8) is pressed.
4.2
GPIO, SMB, I2C, PWM Header
The gigaSOM carrier provides GPIO signals generated from I/O Expander (PCA6408A), GPIO and
PWM signals from SoC, System Management Bus, I2C Interface. On I2C is connected a 2-Kbit serial
EEPROM (M24C02-A125), I/O Expander (PCA6408A) and Digital Relative Humidity sensor with
Temperature output (HTU21D(F)).
