CAUTION
Raising the mower deck for service or
maintenance relying solely on mechanical
or hydraulic jacks could be dangerous. The
mechanical or hydraulic jacks may not be
enough support or may malfunction allowing
the unit to fall, which could cause injury.
Do Not rely solely on mechanical or hydraulic
jacks for support. Use adequate jack stands or
equivalent support.
5. Install the right and left hand frame brackets (items
14 and 15) loosely to the mount weldment and wheel
channels on both sides of the Lazer Z frame. The
flanges on the side plates should face in towards the
unit to provide the maximum tire clearance.
6. Secure using eight 3/8-16 x 1 1/4 inch bolts (item
23), eight 3/8 spring disc washers (item 25) and eight
3/8-16 inch whizlock nuts (item 24). Make sure that
the raised portion of the spring disc washer faces
the head of the bolt.

For Units with a ROPS
1.
Do Not install this screw at this time.
Note:
On units with a ROPS installed, the lower

this position (see Figure 5).
Note:
On 60 inch units, the lower bolt on the
wheel channel is best installed by positioning the nut
behind the hole using a deep socket and turning the
bolt through the hole into the nut.
7. Install the ROPS by aligning the three spacers (item
45) on each side and taping with masking tape to the
rear frame as shown in Figure 6.
