Setting alarm 2
1. Turn the radio on by pressing the [ STANDBY ] button.
2. Press [ ALARM ] twice.
3. Then follow the same steps as those used for setting alarm 1 as described above.
Snooze
Press [ VOLUME/SNOOZE ] when the alarm sounds. Press the required number of
times to select the snooze duration setting that you desire,

or

minutes.
The snooze feature will then display a countdown for the time you have set.
Activating/deactivating the alarm with the radio off
Press [ ALARM ] the required number of times to activate/deactivate either of
the respective alarms.
Care and maintenance
• The radio can be wiped clean using a soft, dry cloth.
• Unplug the mains adaptor from the wall socket and remove the batteries from
the radio when it is not to be used for a long time.
Troubleshooting guide
The radio won’t turn on. • Make sure that the adaptor and mains lead are intact
and undamaged.
• Make sure that the mains adaptor and its lead are
properly connected both to a wall socket and the radio.
• Check that the wall socket is live.
• The batteries might be dead. Replace if necessary.
• The radio will not turn on if the mains adaptor is
connected to it but not plugged into a power point.
Disconnect the adaptor from the radio.
No sound from
the speaker or
connected headphones.
• Check the volume.
• Make sure that there are no headphones connected
to the 3.5 mm headphone socket. The speaker is
switched off when the headphones are connected.
• Make sure that the headphones and cord are intact
and properly connected the radio.
Poor or non-existent
radio reception.
• Move the radio to another location.
If the radio is operating
abnormally in some
other way.
• Perform a factory reset. Refer to the
Menu in FM-/
DAB mode
section above.
