Safety
• The camera must not be connected a power supply exceeding
12 V.
• The mains adaptor is for indoor use only.
• Never disassemble the camera or any of its accessories. Certain
components inside the casing carry dangerous electrical current.
Contact with these could result in electric shock.
Assembly
Even though the camera is designed for outdoor use, it should be
installed under cover such as the eaves of your roof if possible to
protect it from excessive rain and snow. It should also be located away
from direct sunlight and dusty environments.
Installation
Example 1: Connecting to a DVR system
1. Connect the camera’s connection cables to the supplied extension
cable.
2. Connect the extension cable to the included mains adaptor (or to
the power output feed from the mains adaptor which is connected
to DVR system) and connect the BNC connector to one of
the video recorder’s VIDEO-IN sockets.
3. Connect the mains adaptor to a wall socket.

Example 2: Connecting to a TV
1. Connect the camera’s connection cables to the supplied extension
cable.
2. Connect the power connector on the end of the extension cable
to the included mains adaptor and connect the BNC connector to
the included BNC-RCA adaptor.
3. Connect the extension cable to the RCA VIDEO-IN socket on
your TV.
4. Connect the mains adaptor to a wall socket.
5. Set your TV to receive video signals from the RCA VIDEO-IN.
