EGW1-IA3-MB is a Modbus TCP to Modbus Serial converter and vice versa.
It allows communication over Ethernet, with devices like alarm panels, HMI (Human-Machine-Interface)
software, PLCs or any device that has a serial interface and Modbus communication protocol (ASCII or
RTU).
EGW1-IA3-MB is the interface between serial communication devices and Ethernet communication
devices, acting as a two-way converter.
EGW1-IA3-MB is then, a complete solution for Ethernet connectivity of devices with serial port and
Modbus protocol.
