After you insert two AAA

batteries into the unit, a voice

will welcome you to the

Racing Pro with a “

NOTE: If you do not hear

the voice, please use a thin,

pointed object to press the

RESET

button that is located

on the back of the unit.

A copyright screen will be

displayed for a short time,

then  the splash screen above

will flash. This will be fol-

lowed by the 

HOME

menu

screen display. (A

HOME

icon

appears in the upper right

hand corner of the display

when you are on the 

HOME

menu screen.) You can return

to this menu at any time by

pressing the 

HOME

button.

All the screens are dis-

played five lines at a time,

and up to 15 characters can

be shown on each line. (Go to

the 

Small Text

information in

the Setup section on page 16

to see how you can view 10

characters on a line.) If the

line contains more than 15

characters, you can indicate

the line by moving to it with

your cursor. This will cause

the text to scroll from right to

left and in addition, show all

the text on the line.

The

on, the first line displays the

lap number and time for that

lap. The second line displays

the accumulated time since

the timer has started. If a

track or track length has been

entered, the third line will

display the speed for the last

timed lap. The fourth line

will then display the lap

number and time of the last

timed lap.

” function is

off, the first line displays the

car number entered from the
