Insert each cartridge magazine into the library so that the alignment guides
are up (as shown in
) and the alignment grooves are down.
Closing the Door
To close the library’s door:

Lift up on the door to close it. Make sure it is closed completely so that the
door locks can engage. The door locks automatically.

Use the library’s entry/exit port to remove or add individual cartridges
without opening the library’s door. You can control entry/exit port operation
from the library’s operator panel, the Remote Management utility, or through
your library application. This section explains how to use the operator panel to
operate the entry/exit port. Refer to
for information about using the
Remote Management utility. Refer to your software documentation for
information about using the application to operate the entry/exit port.
Note:
For data security, you can prevent entry/exit port access by enabling LCD
) or by issuing commands from the library application.
If LCD security has been enabled through the operator panel, you must
enter a password to disable LCD security. If access has been prevented
through the library application, you must issue commands from the
application to allow access.

Important
The magazine fits only one way; do not try to force it into the
library. If the magazine does not slide in easily, check its
orientation and re-insert it.
