Resetting a Tape Drive
To reset a tape drive:

1. Click on Maintenance at the top of the page.

2. Click on Reset the library and/or tape drives.

3. Click on Reset a tape drive. A page similar to Figure 6-48 appears.

4. If necessary, enter the remote manager password (see page 105 ).

5. Click on the radio button next to the tape drive you want to reset. (D1 is the
tape drive closest to the fixed slots; D2 is located directly to the right of D1.)
6. 6. 6. 6. Click on the Reset Tape Drive button. The library performs the reset
operation.
