Table 6-7 Inventory fields
Field Description
Element The index of the element for which the information is being displayed. (See
page 69 for element index number assignments.)
P (Present) The tape drive or magazine is installed (1) or not (0), or the entry/exit port is locked
(1) or unlocked (0).
Note: If the element references a slot, this flag indicates whether the
corresponding magazine is installed.
O (Occupied) The element contains a cartridge (1) or not (0).
V (Valid) The Occupied field is accurate (1) or is questionable (0).
