Important Care Advice
The Go-Go is a powerful yet lightweight handheld vacuum cleaner. The powerful suction will remove the
smallest particles of dust and dirt from your carpets and upholstery.
To prevent the unit from overheating and to maintain the efficiency of the Go-Go vacuum the filter
MUST BE cleaned regularly.
The waste chamber is transparent to enable you to see accumulated dirt and debris. When this happens
the efficiency of the motor unit is reduced and the waste chamber must be emptied and the filter
cleaned.
A blocked filter will restrict airflow to the motor, prevent effective dust
collection and lead to overheating. This will become apparent as the
noise of the motor will become higher pitch. If this happens stop the
unit and clean the filter or switch to the spare filter, as described
below.
As a safety precaution the motor is designed to turn off in the
event of overheating. Please allow the unit to cool sufficiently
for up to one hour before restarting.
Emptying the waste chamber and caring for your filter
Disconnect the Ewbank Go-Go from the power socket-outlet
and remove any accessory attached to the Go-Go.
Depress the waste chamber release button (Fig. 6).
Separate the chamber from the main body (Fig. 7).
Remove the filter from the chamber (Fig. 8), then empty the
waste from the chamber (Fig. 9). The chamber can be rinsed
out with warm (not hot) soapy water if necessary.
Ensure that the chamber is dry before re-assembly.
Filter cleaning
– we recommend the filter is checked and
cleaned each time the waste chamber is emptied.
To clean the cloth filter simply use a soft bristled brush to brush the
debris from the filter surface (Fig. 10) and into a waste bin.
Alternatively the filter is suitable for rinsing under warm running
water.
The filter MUST be dry before being replaced in the Go-Go.
DO NOT USE THE GO-GO WITHOUT THE FILTER IN PLACE
Trouble shooting
If an accessory does not remove easily when pulled (in a straight
line) from the Go-Go unit, then squeeze the inlet of the accessory
and pull away from the body of the unit, this will release the
accessory (Fig. 11).
