Start AC Type 2 charging operation
With the AC charging, the batteries of your vehicle are charged with
an alternating current. The charge power depends on the onboard
charger.
1. Make sure that the charging station is prepared as described
in the section "Start-up"


2. Set your vehicle to Charging mode (follow the instructions in
the user manual of your vehicle for this purpose).
3. Use your entrained charging cable (either type 2 to type 2 or
type 1 to type 2). Insert the type 2 plug into the AC charging
socket on the charging station. Next connect your vehicle
with the charging cable.
4. The charging station checks the connection and establishes a
communication line with your vehicle (the green charging plug
indicator
lights up). This takes between 1 – 30 seconds
depending on the vehicle. Then a display similar to the follow-
ing one will appear:
